Pre-Event
- Participants traveling for the Forum are requested to plan arrival by 26th January night and depart by 29th night/30th morning.
- Please apply for a conference type visa. Download the Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs clearance letters from the given hyperlinks to include in your application.
- Once your travel arrangements and visa have been finalized, please update the programming team.
During The Event
We recommend that participants make reservations at The Imperial, New Delhi for their
accommodation. To make a reservation, please follow these steps:
- 1. Write to them with the subject: Reservations for 7th India US Forum.
- 2. To: pthapa@theimperialindia.com
CC: charu.jishnu@anantacentre.in; richa.kumaria@anantacentre.in - 3. Provide:
- - Check in date
- - Check out date
- - Mention if you need airport pick and drop
- - Flight details
- 4. For airport transfer, please mention that to the hotel as you make reservations. The hotel will guide you on the payment process directly.
- 5. Since this is a small gathering of a select group of representatives, participants are requested to be present for the entire duration of the Forum.
- 6. Hall names and location within the venue will be mentioned in the agenda.
Registration
- BADGES: Access to the Forum sessions will only be permitted for badge holders. The registration
desk will open on 27th January at the ground
floor of The Imperial Hotel from 11:00 hrs onwards.
- To make the process easier, we would request participants who are in the city to kindly pick their badges up on 25th Jan between 14:00- 16:00 hrs from the Ananta Centre office.Please email lt.thomas@anantacentre.in by 22nd January if you will be sending someone from your staff to pick this up.
About
Launched in 2017, the India-US Forum is a platform for Indian and American leaders to shape the future of India-US strategic partnership through dialogue and collaboration. The Forum is held under the Chatham House Rule and participation is by invitation only. The attendees are high level representatives from government, Congress/Parliament, industry, media, academia and think tanks. Over its 6 editions, the Forum has emerged as a coveted space to exchange ideas and set the bilateral agenda for cooperation.
The topics of discussion this year include the Quad, I2U2, iCET, the future of warfare, supply chains, global health systems, balancing innovation and accountability in AI, global south partnerships, combating extreme weather events, building trust for R&D and tech collaborations, critical minerals, and the next decade of the India-US partnership.
